At H & J, our goal is to provide you with a beautiful, safe, professionally built and installed staircase. 

From stair capping, to duplicating an existing set, to a new carpet grade set; from utility stairs in your garage, to creating the staircase of your dreams. From traditional to modern; old-school to avant-garde; uncomplicated to very detailed; We aim to complete every stair and rail job to our customer's complete satisfaction!

Our years of practical experience have taught us the skills needed to make sure your stair project becomes a reality. We offer our expertise and innovation to supply you with a staircase you can be proud of.

Now with over 15 years in the industry; owner Adam Moore, began H & J Stair and Rail (formerly H&J Unique Woodworks) about 5 years ago. H & J offers a complete service including conceptualization, fabrication, finishing (paint/stain/varnish with colour matching), and stair and railing installation. With us, you can request a staircase to finish on your own or request to have finishing (stain, varnish, and paint) done for you.
